Crisis Mgmt & De-escalation

10-504-102 CRISIS MANAGEMENT & DE-ESCALATION ...This course will examine the unique challenges that the learner may encounter in their career when in contact with persons in crisis or persons with mental illness. The ability to recognize and de-escalate dangerous behavior will make you more successful at your job. The student will learn to identify signs of crisis and mental illness as well as conflict resolution techniques to calm an otherwise volatile situation. 10-526-210 CROSS SECTIONAL ANATOMY ...introduces cross sectional anatomy as related to Diagnostic Medical Sonography. Includes correlating images from other imaging modalities. (Prerequisites: Accepted into the Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program; 10-806-179, Advanced Anatomy & Physiology)

Culinary Baking Application

3 cr.

Understand the baking process including the pastry department. Develop a foundation in baking principles through hands-on application. (Corequisite: 10-316-118, Principles of Sanitation; Must be taken with 10-316-120, Culinary Baking Fundamentals)

Culinary Baking Application 2

3 cr.

Understand the advanced baking process including the pastry department. Develop advanced skills in baking principles through hands-on application. (Prerequisite: 10-316-121, Culinary Baking Application)

Culinary Baking Fundamentals

2 cr.

Understand basic baking principles and develop knowledge of the functions/appropriate usage of the ingredients used in production baking. Learn how different types of bakery products are classified and ingredient cost-outs are calculated. (Prerequisite: Acceptance in Culinary Specialist technical diploma or Culinary Management associate degree or Baking and Pastry Certificate; must take with 10-316-121 Culinary Baking Applications)

10-106-172 CUSTOMER CONTACT SKILLS...Students will learn to effectively work with customers on the phone and in-person. Students will develop effective and efficient telephone etiquette, messaging, and voicemail skills.

Customer Experience

3 cr.

Examine customer service culture, develop communication and listening skills, explore diversity in the workplace, develop skills for handling challenging customers, and explore the impact of technology on customer service and engagement.

Cybersecurity Career Experience

2 cr.

Students can select any hands-on experience related to: Internship, Field Research, Service Learning, Simulations, Capstone, Industry Related, or International. Instructor approval required. (Prerequisite: 10-105-103, Career Fundamentals)

Cybersecurity Documentation & Awareness

2 cr.

Learners will develop the ability to prepare and present written and verbal training documents as well as technical documentation with the appropriate audiences in mind. An emphasis is placed on communicating cybersecurity risks and awareness to all audiences. (Prerequisite: 10-151-100, Intro to Cybersecurity: 10-801-136, English Composition 1)

Cybersecurity Forensics & Incident Response

2 cr.

Students will engage with cybersecurity forensics by learning what digital forensics and incident response is, the methodologies used, key tactical concepts, and the tools need to perform examinations. (Prerequisite: 10-151-100, Intro to Cybersecurity, and 10-150-177 Windows Client Essentials.)
