Wisconsin Early Childhood Association (WECA) is a statewide, nonprofit organization serving as a professional association whose members care for and educate Wisconsin's children, aged birth to eight. WECA is an affiliate of the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).

T.E.A.C.H. Early Childhood® (Teacher Education and Compensation Helps) Wisconsin Scholarship and Bonus Program provides scholarships for early childhood and school age providers to attend technical or private colleges or universities to achieve a higher educational level, by completing a specific educational path.

The Registry
The Registry offers the following Credentials that are recognized throughout the state for the following specialty areas. NWTC offers the coursework for the credentials through our certificates. To receive the Credential from The Registry, you will prepare a portfolio and complete a commission process in addition to completing the certificate courses.

NAEYC is the leading membership association for those working with and on behalf of children from birth through age eight.
