An enhancement transforming Introductory Statistics (3 cr) into Applied Statistics (4 cr). Learners will relate descriptive statistics and concepts of probability, correlation, regression, and hypothesis testing to data analysis in scientific research. General mathematics, pipe mathematics, related science, steam, hydronic heating, related pipe drafting, and refrigeration.

Introduces the design and construction process for commercial building projects. Compliance to applicable codes will be stressed. Advanced building information modeling tools will be used to design and document a commercial building. (Prerequisites: 10-614-219, Architectural Residential; 10-614-218, BIM Structural; 10-614-223, Building Sustainability 2)

Associates program coursework with architectural related careers. Compliance to industry procedures and standards will be stressed. Architectural technology concepts and techniques will be applied in a work environment. (Prerequisite: Instructor approval)

Introduces the principles of architectural design theory, sketching application, and space planning. Develops skills in visualization, presentation drawings, and architectural language. Basic architectural sketches and drawings will be prepared. (Prerequisite: Acceptance in Architectural Technology program)

Introduces building construction drawings, codes, and specifications. Residential projects will be examined. (Co-requisite:10-614-210, Architectural Principles, 10-614-213, Building Materials and/or enrolled in the Fundamentals of Architecture Certificate.)

Topics include humane butchering, carcass yields, sausage-making, smoking and packaging. Compare professional techniques to home-based skills. Review rules, regulations and sanitary practices. Determine produce mix, costs and income potential.

Build interactive, database-driven websites with ASP.NET and C# with Visual Studio, handling web form events, using ASP.NET controls, designing master pages, managing state, and interacting with databases with ASP.NET data-bound controls. (Prerequisites: 10-152-173, Programming in C# Part 1; 10-152-185, Website Coding HTML & CSS; 10-152-125, Database Design with a "C" or better and you are enrolled in the Software Developer program or 10-152-173 Programming in C # Part 1 and 10-152-125 Database Design)

Off-camera audio acquisition and processing for video production. Interior and exterior audio recording concepts and techniques. Audio recording for video equipment including microphones, field recorders, and wireless lavaliere systems.

Students will diagnose more complex circuits utilizing an electrical meter and test light. Students will build circuits and test existing circuits on a vehicle, including parallel circuits and relays. Testing will include volts, amps, Ohms- measured and calculated, and voltage drop. (Pre-requisites: 10-412-153 Intro to Electrical Systems, 10-602-107 Automotive Service Fundamentals)

Develop the skills needed to diagnose, service and repair electrical and electronic systems including driver information, horn, wiper/washer, power accessories, cruise control, air bag, antitheft and radio systems. (Prerequisite: 10-602-105, Auto Electrical & Electronic Systems 2)
