10-104-125 EVENT MARKETING...learn the event management process, including planning, securing sponsorships, promotion execution, and evaluation of special events (entertainment, industry, meeting/convention). Students will work toward the actual staging of an event (will require time outside of the classroom setting).

Exercise Testing & Prescription
10-546-115 EXERCISE TESTING & PRESCRIPTION ...apply exercise theory to assess and develop interventional wellness-related exercise programs for individuals and groups. 60-807-627 EXERCISE: WATER AEROBICS.. Designed for all fitness levels, this class combines the benefits of aerobic exercise with the natural resistance of water to provide a full-body workout that's easy on the joints.
Experimental Design
10-506-138 EXPERIMENTAL DESIGN ...provides learners the opportunity to analyze the principles of successful experimental design and execution. Learners will apply the steps of the scientific method to design sound experiments based on scenarios from research and industrial settings.
Exploring Surgical Issues
10-512-127 EXPLORING SURGICAL ISSUES...Explores a variety of issues related to surgical technology. Emphasis is placed is on becoming a professional member of the surgical team. (Prerequisites: 10-512-125, Intro to Surgical Technology; 10-512-126, Surgical Tech Fundamentals 1)
Fall Garden Management
10-090-137 FALL GARDEN MANAGEMENT...use GAP (Good Agricultural Practices) to harvest, clean and bring produce to markets. Use season-extending hoop house, compost vegetative residue, sow cover crops, and prepare the garden for next year. (Prerequisite: 10-090-131, Organic Gardening)
Family Systems
10-550-209 FAMILY SYSTEMS ... Provides a broad understanding of family systems theory and practice relevant to the human services field. Focus is on evaluating the communication and interaction patterns and applying interventions and strategies. (Prerequisite: 10-550-206, Intro to Interview & Counsel.)

Farm Business Planning
10-090-377 FARM BUSINESS PLANNING... will explore good management techniques and economic principles, as well as the link to the decision-making process to develop the framework for successful farm operation and organization. Students will be exposed to the various compliance issues in the agriculture industry - from environmental to animal welfare.
