Hotel Management

HR Organizational Metrics

2 cr.

Examine data systems and analytical techniques to gather and analyze HR metrics and how to communicate findings to drive decisions. This course introduces students to the options, processes, technology, resources, and testing requirements regarding GED« testing in pursuit of a high school credential.

10-504-103 HUMAN BEHAVIOR &COMMUNICATION ...This course will advance your communication skills by understanding what the words spoken, written communication and non-verbal communication means. This class will explore how to determine if the message is congruent or what the signs of deception are within the message.

Human Body in Health & Disease

31-509-302 HUMAN BODY IN HEALTH & DISEASE ...students learn to recognize human body structure and function in health and disease states. Students explore the causes, signs, and symptoms of diseases of the major body systems as well as the diagnostic procedures, usual treatment, prognosis, and prevention of diseases commonly diagnosed and treated in the medical office setting.(Prerequisite/Corequisite: 10-501-101, Medical Terminology).

10-530-182 HUMAN DISEASES FOR HEALTH PROFES ... prepares learners to interpret clinical documentation that they will encounter in a variety of healthcare settings. Emphasis is placed on understanding the common disorders and diseases of each body system to include the etiology (cause), signs and symptoms, diagnostic tests and results, and medical treatments and surgical procedures.
