What will I learn?

  1. Applies safe practices in use of hand and power tool in the Model Shop.
  2. Schedule and prepare for course projects.
  3. Recognize that all mechanisms are combinations of basic machines.
  4. Proper mounting and use of wheels
  5. Select and correctly use levers, linkages and guadrants.
  6. Demonstrate an understanding of the variety of possible applications and obtainable actions of cams.
  7. Select and correctly use springs
  8. Select and correctly use motors.
  9. Recongize the many ingenious accomplishments achieved with combining mechanisms.
