- Review and utilize criminal law terminology.
- Examine statutory construction, criminal jurisdiction and statutes of limitations in Chapter 939 of the Wisconsin Statutes.
- Identify and define the basic elements of a crime.
- Recognize elements of party to a crime and vicarious liability.
- Identify inchoate crimes.
- Analyze defenses to criminal liability.
- Identify and utilize elements of crimes against persons
- Identify and utilize elements of crimes against health and public safety.
- Identify and utilize elements of crimes against habitation and property.
- Identify and utilize elements of crimes against privacy, public order and morals.
- Identify and utilize elements of law violations related to alcohol, tobacco, and controlled substances.
