10-001-174 PRINCIPLES OF LANDSCAPE DESIGN AND GRAPHICS...residential design methods utilizing outdoor room concepts: function, design principles, and composition in developing a landscape plan; drafting, site analysis, graphics. (Prerequisites: 10-001-110, Horticulture-Introduction; 10-606-127, Landscape Design Studio Introduction)

  3. Create awareness of design process
  4. Use site inventory & analysis process
  5. Develop a base map with proper composition
  6. Develop landscape concept drawings
  7. Develop schematic landscape drawing
  8. Implement basic grading design and standards
  9. Construct a topographic model
  10. Draw accurate construction details
  11. Analyze plant relationships and color combinations
  12. Incorporate principles of planting design in drawings
  13. Develop presentation quality landscape plans
  14. Present a design project in a peer review setting
