Electronics 1: Diodes-Basic
Introduction to the characteristics and usage of semiconductor diodes in rectifiers and linear power supplies. Special diodes and diode circuits are also considered. (Prerequisite: 10-660-105, DC 2: Circuits; Corequisite or Instructor Approval: Electrical Engineering Students are recommended to take 10-660-106, DC 3: Circuit Theorems prior to/or at the same time as this course)
Electronics 2: Trans-Basic
Introduction to the characteristics, bias and usage of semiconductor transistors in amplifying circuitry. BJTs and general amplifier characteristics are studied. (Pre-requisite: 10-660-110, Electronics 1: Diodes-Basic)
Electronics 3: Op-Amps-Basic
Introduction to the circuit characteristics of integrated operational amplifiers. The various connections, inverting, non-inverting and comparator will be studied as well as specialized applications such as summers and filters. (Pre-requisite: 10-660-111, Electronics 2: Transistor-Basic)
Electronics Design Integration
Design, coordinate, and apply electrical, electronics, and/or microprocessor skills into an integrated final project. (Prerequisites: 10-605-165, Micro 3: Interfaces)
Elementary Algebra/8WK
In support of Intermediate Algebra, Elementary Algebra/8wks covers the beginning of algebra: working with real numbers and understanding the concepts of solving equations. The focus is then placed on solving linear equations, basic quadratic equations, and common formulas from geometry. The Cartesian plane is introduced early to give students multiple vantage points to understand solutions of equations. (Prerequisite: GPA less than 2.6; OR Next Gen QRAS score less/equal to 249 AND Rdg less/equal to 249; OR ACT Math score greater/equal to 15 to less than 21 AND Rdg less than 15).
Elicitation Techniques
Define stakeholders and use the stakeholder analysis to conduct elicitation activities accurately capturing information needs, documenting, and confirming results. Facilitates meetings and communication plan to support ongoing collaboration. (Prerequisite: 10-102-124, Planning and Monitoring)
ELL Conversation
Focuses on developing various communication skills including speaking and listening. Students practice intrapersonal/interpersonal and nonverbal communication skills through oral presentations, group activities and written projects.
ELL Jumpstart
This course offers ELL students the academic and technical skills to be prepared to onboard successfully into ELL level courses.
ELL Open Lab
English Language Learners Levels 1-6 will use online learning platforms to develop academic, workplace, or everyday English skills (reading, writing, speaking, listening, and grammar); computer literacy skills (Microsoft Word, emailing, typing, etc.); and/or citizenship knowledge (civics, interview practice, and steps to becoming a U.S. citizen). Students will learn in a self-paced environment with the support of an instructor. Instruction for each student will vary depending on each student's unique needs.

The English Language Learner will practice grammar and writing to develop beginning literacy skills. Instruction will incorporate numeracy, civics, technology, workplace skills, and academic language to prepare students for the next ELL level.

The English Language Learner will read to develop beginning literacy skills. Instruction will incorporate numeracy, civics, technology, workplace skills, and academic language to prepare students for the next ELL level.
