10-405-144 COLLISION REPAIR WELDING ...this course provides the opportunity for the learner to develop the knowledge, skills, process and understanding of GMAW (MIG) welding steel for industry certification, GMAW (MIG) brazing, GMAW (MIG) welding aluminum, and squeeze type resistance spot welding (STRSW).

  1. Produce GMAW (MIG) plug welds.
  2. Produce GMAW (MIG) butt with backing welds.
  3. Produce GMAW (MIG) open butt welds.
  4. Produce GMAW (MIG) filet-on lap welds.
  5. Identify and perform GMAW (MIG) brazing.
  6. Identify and perform squeeze-type resistance spot welding (STRSW).
  7. Identify and perform GMAW (MIG) aluminum welding.
