- Perform basic microbiological techniques
- Perform routine ID procedures for Staphylococcus and Streptococcus
- Perform routine ID procedures for Neisseria and Haemophilus organisms
- Perform routine ID procedures for Enterics and other stool pathogens
- Perform routine ID procedures for the non-fermenters
- Perform routine ID of gram positive aerobic bacilli
- Perform routine ID procedures for miscellaneous bacteria
- Interpret susceptibility testing
- Examine collection, processing, and interpretation of results for various microbiological specimens

This class is taught through a combination of in-person and online instruction. Students will attend live portions of the class at the dates, times, and location specified.
