Global Connections: Celebration of Our Shared Communities

This student-led event will offer a variety of experiences including games, "Around-the-World-Photo Stories" where our students share what their culture/place of origin/faith means to them.

Come create a traditional slavic culture amulet-doll "Nerazluchniki" (translating to "Inseperables" in English). It is designed to protect the harmony and peace in the family. This unique keepsake only takes about 10 minutes to create!

Students engaging in cultural programming opportunities offered by Student Involvement during International Education Week will be able to:

• Reflect critically on their own cultural identity and background, connecting personal history to larger social and historical forces.
• Demonstrate intercultural understanding of artistic works or performances through an ability to analyze and appreciate works from distinctly different cultures and traditions.
