Get the high-tech fire training you need to protect people and property. NWTC offers training opportunities and academic programs for both aspiring and experienced firefighters.
Whether you’re interested in fighting fires, inspecting scenes, or responding to medical emergencies, NWTC will get you ready for the workforce with hands-on training and instructors who have years of real-world experience. Become a firefighter, emergency medical technician (EMT), fire inspector, or other fire-related professional. Current firefighters and officers can get fire service updates with this degree.
Gain skills in fire protection and suppression as well as emergency medical services (EMS). Prepare for jobs in rural or urban fire departments, airport public safety, and industrial safety.
Prepare to be a firefighter in less than one year with this technical diploma. You'll learn basic fire behavior, techniques used to control structural and related fire emergencies, and life safety practices.
