Architectural Residential

Emphasizes residential house styles, building codes, and design components related to the site and structure. Conceptual design drawings will be developed into construction drawings using AutoCAD and Revit software. (Prerequisites: 10-614-213, Building Materials; 10-614-210, Architectural Principles; 10-614-217, Architectural Print Reading 1; 10-614-214 Building Sustainability 1. ARRT Certification Seminar

2 cr.

10-526-174 ARRT CERTIFICATION SEMINAR...provides preparation for the national certification examination prepared by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Emphasis is placed on the weak areas of the individual students. Simulated registry examinations are utilized. (Prerequisite: Enrolled in Radiography program or consent of program director)

ASP.NET

3 cr.

10-152-183 ASP.NET ...build interactive, database-driven websites with ASP.NET and C# with Visual Studio, handling web form events, using ASP.NET controls, designing master pages, managing state, and interacting with databases with ASP.NET data-bound controls. (Prerequisites: 10-152-173, Programming in C# Part 1; 10-152-185, Website Coding HTML & CSS; 10-152-125, Database Design)

Assembly Design

2 cr.

Introduces the creation of assembly drawings including a complete set of detailed prints along with drawings that show how a mechanism will be assembled. Students also create a set of prints for welding multiple parts together and will take part in top-down engineering activities to and be responsible for all aspects of a mechanical design project. Project management and scheduling will also be introduced as it relates to mechanical design, group dynamics, creating complete bill of materials including fabricated and purchased parts, along with multiple other aspects of project management. A final Design binder will be created and presented. (Prerequisite: 10-606-128, Fabrication Design)

Audio for Video Production

3 cr.

10-206-151 AUDIO FOR VIDEO PRODUCTION ...off-camera audio acquisition and processing for video production. Interior and exterior audio recording concepts and techniques. Audio recording for video equipment including microphones, field recorders, and wireless lavaliere systems.

Auto Certification Preparation 1

1 cr.

This course provides an opportunity for students to develop the knowledge, skills and understanding required to successfully complete the Automotive Technician certification test in the areas of Brakes, Steering and Suspension, and Engine Performance. (Prerequisites: 10-602-195 Advanced Chassis, 10-602-106 Engine Performance 1, 10-602-108 Engine Performance 2, 10-602-113, Engine Performance 3)

Auto Electrical & Electronic Systems 2

2 cr.

Students will diagnose preliminary vehicle electrical systems that include the battery, starter, and alternator. Testing will include volts, Ohms-measured and calculated, amps, voltage drop, and parasitic draw. (Pre-requisite: 10-602-102 Auto Electrical & Electronic Systems 1)

10-607-112 AUTOCAD FOR CIVIL ENGINEERING ...develops the knowledge, skills, process, and understanding of AutoCAD by working with templates; creating and manipulating layers; basic drawing, editing, and inquiry commands; and blocks, attributes, and plotting.

31-457-351 AUTOMATED CUTTING PROCESSES ...Course provides the opportunity for the learner to develop the knowledge, skills, processes and understanding of automated cutting equipment. They will be able to program and safely operate CNC saws, drills, shears and cutting tables. (Corequisite: 31-457-338, Metal Fabrication II; 10-606-116, CAD-Intro)

Automated Forming Processes

31-457-352 AUTOMATED FORMING PROCESSES ...Course provides the opportunity for the learner to develop the knowledge, skills, processes and understanding of automated forming equipment. They will be able to program and safely operate CNC breaks, and rolls. (Corequisite: 31-457-338, Metal Fabrication II; 10-606-116, CAD-Intro)
