10-614-217 ARCHITECTURAL PRINT READING 1 àIntroduces building construction drawings, codes, and specifications. Residential projects will be examined. (Prerequisite:10-614-210, Architectural Principles or enrolled in the Fundamentals of Architecture Certificate. Co-requisite: 10-614-213, Building Materials.)

Architectural Print Reading 2

10-614-164 ARCHITECTURAL PRINT READING 2 ...Reviews building construction documents and codes. Commercial projects will be examined. (Prerequisite: 10-614-217, Architectural Print Reading 1)

Architectural Residential

4 cr.

10-614-219 ARCHITECTURAL RESIDENTIAL àemphasizes residential house styles, building codes, and design components related to the site and structure. Conceptual design drawings will be developed into construction drawings using AutoCAD and Revit software. (Prerequisites: 10-614-213, Building Materials; 10-614-210, Architectural Principles; 10-614-217, Architectural Print Reading 1; 10-614-231, BIM Architectural 2; 10-614-214 Building Sustainability 1)

ARRT Certification Seminar

2 cr.

10-526-174 ARRT CERTIFICATION SEMINAR...provides preparation for the national certification examination prepared by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Emphasis is placed on the weak areas of the individual students. Simulated registry examinations are utilized. (Prerequisite: Enrolled in Radiography program or consent of program director)

Assembly Design

2 cr.

10-606-129 ASSEMBLY DESIGN ...introduces the creation of assembly drawings including a complete set of detailed prints along with drawings that show how a mechanism will be assembled. Students also create a set of prints for welding multiple parts together and will take part in ôtop-down engineeringö activities to and be responsible for all aspects of a mechanical design project. Project management and scheduling will also be introduced as it relates to mechanical design, group dynamics, creating complete bill of materials including fabricated and purchased parts, along with multiple other aspects of project management. A final Design ôbinderö will be created and presented. (Prerequisite: 10-606-128, Fabrication Design)
