How to Access Shared Harvest
Shared Harvest is open to all currently-enrolled NWTC students. No proof of need is required – we operate on a trust-based system.
- Students can access nutritional snacks and single-serve meals during regular business hours. This resource is designed to serve as a temporary stopgap, helping students stay focused on their academic and co-curricular activities while they work toward connecting with longer-term support.
- Shared Harvest is not intended to fully meet students’ nutritional needs. Instead, students experiencing chronic food insecurity will be referred to a network of community-based organizations that specialize in sustainable assistance. NWTC’s Resource Navigator team is available to help students make those connections and access the support they need.
- This initiative reflects NWTC’s broader commitment to student well-being—ensuring that every student has the opportunity to succeed without facing barriers related to basic needs.
