Dr. Kathryn Rogalski, NWTC’s vice president of Learning, was one of 40 community college leaders selected for the 2021-22 Aspen Rising Presidents Fellowship. The highly selective leadership program prepares the next generation of community college presidents to achieve higher, champion equitable student success strategies, embrace cultural change, and partner with other organizations for collective action. Starting in November, the 10-month fellowship consists of seminars from the Aspen Institute and Stanford University, a capstone project that focuses on crafting a distinct presidential perspective on student success, and mentorship from nationally recognized current and former community college presidents. When asked about her selection, Dr. Rogalski said, “It is an honor to be among this cohort of exceptional leaders across the nation who share the same commitment to equity, access, and success for community and technical college students.”
