This course provides the opportunity for the student to develop the knowledge, skills, process and understanding to Create solid and wireframe CAD/CAM models for CNC Lathe programming, Apply CNC Lathe toolpaths to wireframe and solid CAD/CAM models, Create solid and wireframe CAD/CAM models for Wire EDM programming, Apply Wire EDM toolpaths to wireframe and solid CAD/CAM models, Create solid and wireframe CAD/CAM models for Dynamic CNC Mill programming, Apply Dynamic CNC Milling toolpaths to wireframe and solid CAD/CAM models. (Corequisite: 31-420-323, CAM Programming)

Develop the knowledge and skills, to create Solid Models using Autodesk Inventor; creating and editing 3D drawings; rapid prototyping; manipulating data. (Prerequisites: 10-606-116, CAD-Intro; 10-606-160, SolidWorks Fundamentals.)

10-526-207 ABDOMINAL SONOGRAPHY ...prepares learners to perform ultrasounds of the abdominal organs including liver, gallbladder, biliary tree, pancreas, spleen, urinary tract, aorta and retroperitoneum. Practice scan sessions included. 10-809-159 ABNORMAL PSYCHOLOGY ...The course addresses the foundations of abnormal psychology and psychological disorders, including their characteristics, possible causes, assessments, diagnostic processes, and treatments. The course includes examination of major historical and theoretical perspectives, research, sociocultural considerations, and elements of psychological wellness. (Prerequisite: GPA greater/equal to 2.6; OR Next Gen Rdg score greater/equal to 250 AND Writing score greater/equal to 237; OR ACT Rdg score greater/equal to 15 AND English greater/equal to 15; OR 10-831-107, College Reading and Writing with a B or better)

Study of the way inductive, capacitive and resistive components behave in a circuit excited by a sine waveform. Effective and average values of the sinewave are derived. (Pre-requisite: 10-660-105, DC 2: Circuits)

Power flow in complex AC circuits based on resistive and reactive components. Description of the power triangle and power factor. Calculation of voltages and currents in complex AC circuits. (Pre-requisite: 10-660-108, AC 2: Reactance)

AC theory, inductance, capacitance, impedance, series ad parallel AC circuits, AC power, power factor corrections, rectification of AC, diodes and silicon controlled rectifiers. (Prerequisite: 10-413-314, DC Circuits)

Accounting principles, financial statements, business transactions, accounting cycles/systems, accounting for cash and receivables for sole proprietorships in service or merchandising businesses.

Inventories, fixed assets, current liabilities including payroll and notes payable, business formations, capital stocks, dividends, bonds, cash flow statements, and financial statement analysis. (Prerequisites: 10-101-110, Accounting 1)

Use of financial calculator, purchasing, shipping/receiving, A/R, and A/P systems, markups, discounts, credit charges, time value of money, depreciation methods, and inventory methods.

Students can select any hands-on experience related to: Internship, Field Research, Service Learning, Capstone, Industry Related or International Experience. Instructor approval required. (Prerequisites: 10-105-103, Career Fundamentals; 10-101-120, Accounting 2)

This course provides the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of the accounting cycle, recording business transactions, preparations of the financial statements, financial statement analysis, accrual accounting, accounting for cash and internal controls, and payroll.
