Your incredible nursing future is within reach! Excel in your academic journey with help from EARN (Educating Aspiring Registered Nurses)a grant program dedicated to increasing diversity in nursing in Northeast Wisconsin.  

Students who participate in the EARN program will receive academic, career, and financial support while they progress through the Nursing-Associate Degree program at NWTC. 

To be eligible for the EARN program, you must:

  • Be currently pursuing the Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Enroll in either 1st or 2nd semester nursing courses for Fall 2023
  • Pursue the full-time track program option
  • Be eligible to complete the 2023-2024 FAFSA (US citizen or eligible non-citizen)
  • Meet one or more of the following criteria:
    • Identify as part of an underrepresented racial or ethnic group.
    • Have a high school GPA that is or was below 3.0 or you have experienced educational disadvantages in high school.
    • Have major financial need. For example, you are Pell Grant eligible, or you are unable to afford adequate food or housing.
    • Be a first-generation college student. Neither of your parents has earned a bachelor’s degree.

How do I apply for the program?

The EARN Program is currently accepting applications for the Fall 2023 semester to students who meet the qualifications above. If you are interested in learning more, please fill out the form below. Eligible students will be instructed on the next steps in the holistic admissions process.
