Who is responsible for the cost of tuition, course fees, textbooks, and materials?

According to Wisconsin state statutes, the school district is required to pay the cost of tuition, course fees, and required books. The district may request books be returned to the district at the end of the course. Additional costs such as testing fees, background checks, and supplies may be covered at the discretion of the high school district. The expectation of who will pay these expenses should be communicated to student(s)/parent(s) in advance.

Why did I receive an invoice for my SCN classes?

Our SCN billing process can sometimes overlap with the college invoicing process, which may send an invoice in error. If you submitted a SCN application and have worked with your high school to choose classes and enroll, you can disregard your invoice. If you are unsure if you were approved for SCN classes, connect with your counselor or contact our K12 Pathways team to get more information.
