31-806-312 ANATOMY/STRUCTURE-FUNCTION ...This course explores the 11 organ systems with an emphasis on important structures and their functions. (Prerequisite: 2.6 GPA OR Next Gen Reading score greater/equal to 250; OR ACT Reading score greater/equal to 15 OR 10-838-105, Intro to Reading and Study Skills OR equivalent).

Animal Health

3 cr.

Introduces students to the study of dairy cattle health. Covers animal anatomy, basic immune function and common diseases. Emphasis will be placed on early detection and symptoms for heifer, transition cows, lactating cows and calves. (Prerequisite: 10-091-327, Basic Animal Husbandry)

Applied Office Skills

2 cr.

10-106-178 APPLIED OFFICE SKILLS ...Students will prepare and enhance documents in business-based scenarios. Advanced skills in word processing and spreadsheet software will be used. (Prerequisites: 10-103-121, MS Word Intro; 10-103-131, MS Excel Intro; 10-106-142 Software Projects)

Applied Statistics Enhancement

1 cr.

10-804-188 APPLIED STATISTICS ENHANCEMENT ...an enhancement transforming Introductory Statistics (3 cr) into Applied Statistics (4 cr). Learners will relate descriptive statistics and concepts of probability, correlation, regression, and hypothesis testing to data analysis in scientific research. Aquaculture/Aquaponics

Investigate hydroponic plant growing and fish farming operations; designs, suitable species, maintenance, costs efficiencies and yields. Plan a system, develop a budget, explore markets, trends, and analyze benefits and obstacles in this business.

Architectural Comm Studio 2

4 cr.

Enhances commercial building construction drawing documentation. Compliance to applicable codes will be stressed. Advanced building information modeling tools will be used to further develop commercial building construction documents. (Prerequisite: 10-614-250, Architectural Commercial Studio 1)

Architectural Internship

1 cr.

Associates program coursework with architectural related careers. Compliance to industry procedures and standards will be stressed. Architectural technology concepts and techniques will be applied in a work environment. (Prerequisite: Instructor approval)

Architectural Model/Construction

3 cr.

Introduces planning and construction of architectural models focusing on layout, fabrication, material selection, painting, and attention to details. (Prerequisites: 10-614-152, Prototype Introduction to; 10-606-116 CAD-Intro)

Architectural Print Reading 2

1 cr.

Reviews building construction documents and codes. Commercial projects will be examined. (Prerequisite: 10-614-217, Architectural Print Reading 1)
