Take a Class

This course is for students who need a BLS CPR course completion eCard from the American Heart Association. The course is designed for health care professionals in the pre-hospital and hospital settings. Students will learn how to perform high-quality CPR on adults, children, and infants as a single rescuer and as a member of a multi-rescuer team. Students will also learn to use an AED, barrier devices such as pocket masks and bag-valve-masks, and relief of foreign body airway obstructions. This course should also be taken by students whose BLS CPR eCards have expired. For Healthcare Professionals: Physicians, Nurses, EMS, Dental Workers, etc. (Firefighters & Law Enforcement - Dependent on Agency)

The goal of this American Heart Association course is to teach you to act in a cardiac arrest emergency. It is designed for people with limited or no medical training who want to learn how to perform CPR as a life skill or to meet regulatory, licensing, or workplace requirements. Students will learn how to perform high-quality CPR as a single-rescuer for adult, child, and infant patients. Students will also learn to use an AED, barrier devices such as pocket mask, and relief of a foreign body airway obstruction. Students will receive an eCard after successful completion of the course. This course also meets OSHA requirements. For Lay Rescuers: Daycare workers, Employees in the workplace, etc. (Firefighters & Law Enforcement û Dependent on Agency)

This course provides the opportunity for students who hold a current BLS CPR Provider certification to recertify their skills. To recertify, your AHA BLS Provider card cannot be expired. Students will learn Adult, Child, and Infant CPR, along with removal of foreign bodies from the airway, use of a BVM, and AED.

The goal of this American Heart Association course is to teach you to act in an emergency. It is designed for people with limited or no medical training who want to learn how to administer first aid as a life skill or to meet regulatory, licensing, or workplace requirements. Students will learn how to provide care in the first minutes of various medical emergencies, traumatic injuries, and environmental exposures. Students will receive an eCard after successful completion of the course and the course meets OSHA requirements. This course does not include CPR or the use of an AED. For Lay Rescuers: Daycare workers, Employees in the workplace, etc. (Firefighters & Law Enforcement û Dependent on Agency)

Prepares dental auxiliary students to respond proactively to dental emergencies, control infection, prevent disease, adhere to OSHA Standards, and safely manage hazardous materials. Students also take patient vital signs and collect patient medical/dental histories. CPR certification is a prerequisite; students will be required to show proof of certification before beginning the course. (Prerequisite: Accepted into the Dental Hygienist Associate Degree or Dental Assistant Technical Diploma or Expanded Function Dental Auxiliary Certificate)

Safety awareness, federal/state/local compliance, inspections, risk analysis, workplace violence, substance abuse, health hazards, first aid, CPR, fire and electrical safety, and emergency preparedness.

Students will develop skills in assessment, record keeping, and documentation necessary to provide therapeutic massage. Students will expand their knowledge of massage techniques to include myofascial and deep tissue. Students will begin their clinical experience on assigned dates. Students must hold a current American Heart Association BLS Provider CPR card. (Prerequisite: 30-537-101, Therapeutic Massage 1, 10-537-120 Musculoskeletal Anatomy For The Massage Therapist)
