HSE2C Orientation
This course introduces students to the options, processes, technology, resources, and testing requirements regarding GED« testing in pursuit of a high school credential.
HSED to Work (CCR 1)
Is a cross curricular (integrated subject material) and universal (understood across time and culture) course consisting of the following units: Dollar Power, Planning for Your Future, Health Awareness, Your Community, and Civic Life. Course competencies will be integrated through studies in health awareness, social science, functional math skills, basic scientific process skills, employability skills and career awareness, communication skills, civics, and computer literacy.
Human Behavior & Communication
This course will advance your communication skills by understanding what the words spoken, written communication and non-verbal communication means. This class will explore how to determine if the message is congruent or what the signs of deception are within the message.
Human Body in Health & Disease
Students learn to recognize human body structure and function in health and disease states. Students explore the causes, signs, and symptoms of diseases of the major body systems as well as the diagnostic procedures, usual treatment, prognosis, and prevention of diseases commonly diagnosed and treated in the medical office setting. (Prerequisite/Corequisite: 10-501-101, Medical Terminology).
Human Diseases for Hlth Profes
Prepares learners to interpret clinical documentation that they will encounter in a variety of healthcare settings. Emphasis is placed on understanding the common disorders and diseases of each body system to include the etiology (cause), signs and symptoms, diagnostic tests and results, and medical treatments and surgical procedures. (Prerequisite: 10-501-101, Medical Terminology; Co-requisite 10-806-189, Basic Anatomy)

Human Resources Career Experience
Students can select any hands-on experience related to: Internship, Field Research, Service Learning, Capstone, Industry Related or International Experience. Instructor approval required. HVAC Air Systems 1
The study of Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) equipment, air measurement, applications, installation, and service. (Prerequisite: 10-601-241 HVAC Installation, 10-601-231 HVAC Refrigeration/AC 1, 10-601-221 HVAC Heating 1)
HVAC Air Systems 2
The study of air properties, air balancing, economizers, and air distribution equipment. (Prerequisite: 10-601-222 Heating 2, 10-601-213 HVAC Electricity 3)
HVAC Design Applications
Blueprint reading, heating/cooling load calculations, equipment selection, and air distribution system design. (Prerequisite:10-601-252 HVAC Air Systems 2)
HVAC Electricity 1
An introduction to basic electricity and the proper use of a digital multi-meter as it applies to typical HVAC switching circuits. (Prerequisite: Accepted into the HVAC Technology Program, Technical Diploma, or Basics Certificate.)
HVAC Electricity 2
Lockout-tagout procedures and electrical safety, introduction and troubleshooting of basic HVAC electromechanical components. (Prerequisite: 10-601-211 HVAC Electricity 1)
