What will I learn?

  1. Apply ANSI Y14.5-2009 standards for dimensioning mechanical prints
  2. Determine proper tolerance method to convey on mechanical prints
  3. Produce working drawings consistent with mechanical design field
  4. Construct weldment drawings per mechanical drawing standards
  5. Illustrate sheet metal drawings utilizing various bend allowance formulas
  6. Identify stock components in mechanical designs
  7. Prepare complete mechanical design project as a group
