NWTC Foundation Governance
Founded in 1970, the NWTC Educational Foundation is a public, non-profit organization whose mission is to provide financial support to NWTC students and to the College through scholarships and other funding.
By doing so, the Foundation promotes the value of technical college education within the community and supports the College's vision and mission.

Financial Advisor, Edward Jones
Higher education is critically important to helping individuals achieve their personal goals, as well as lifting up their families, communities, and local economy. I was extremely fortunate to receive multiple scholarships to fund my college education and want to help make college possible for others around me. NWTC provides educational opportunities right "in our backyards" – essential for rural communities such as Marinette County, where I call home. I am especially proud of the NWTC Education Foundation for supporting students' holistic needs with access to emergency funds, when unexpected events arise (like housing instability, food insecurity, transportation difficulty, or childcare needs). Helping students stay enrolled, complete their educational journeys, and earn life-sustaining wages after graduation.
Jessica Lehmkuhl, Vice President
Managing Broker, Edge Advisors
I believe in the transformative impact of education for families from personal experience. Personally, I watched my mother climb the corporate ladder to become a director at a Fortune 100 company with an Associate’s degree from a technical college. This is first hand evidence that colleges like NWTC help families build communities that create the strong foundation that the greater Green Bay area is made up of.
Daniel Verbanac, Treasurer/Secretary
Senior Vice President, Retail Power, Mass Markets & Solution Sales at Constellation Energy
NWTC holds a special place in my heart. After my first year of college, I needed to enter the job market quickly, so I transferred to NWTC’s Data Processing program. That initial degree was pivotal in shaping my career and enabled me to pursue my bachelor’s and post-bachelor degrees. Serving on the board is my way of giving back and supporting students who are starting their own journeys through NWTC.

Retired Chief Information Officer (CIO), KI
I’m proud to serve on the NWTC Foundation board because NWTC changes lives right here at home. I believe every student deserves the chance to pursue an education, stay in school, and reach their dreams. By supporting scholarships and programs, I want to help remove barriers so students can focus on learning and building their future.
Dustin Delsman, District Board of Trustees Liaison
Business Representative at Plumbers & Steamfitters Local 400
It is truly an honor to serve on Northeast Wisconsin Technical College’s Foundation Board of Directors. NWTC plays a vital role in strengthening the economic and social fabric of the district it serves. Every day, NWTC opens doors of opportunity for students—many of whom are balancing work, family, and education—to gain the skills and confidence they need to build rewarding careers and meaningful lives. It’s a privilege to help steward the generosity of our donors and community partners who make scholarships, equipment, and program enhancements possible. Together, we are investing not just in students, but in the future of Northeast Wisconsin’s communities and industries.
Jamie Eisch
Chief Operating Officer, UnitedHealthcare
I joined the Northeast Wisconsin Technical College Foundation Board of Directors because I believe in the power of education to transform lives and strengthen our community. Serving on the board allows me to support initiatives that expand access to learning, foster workforce development, and create opportunities for students to succeed. By contributing my experience and perspective, I hope to help advance NWTC’s mission and ensure that individuals in our region have the resources they need to achieve their goals.
Jenni Oliver, Alumni Association Board Liaison
Meeting Manager, Strategic Events with Association Management Center (AMC)
NWTC is such a valuable resource for our community and is a place that welcomes EVERYONE. As a first generation college student, I chose to support the Foundation and Alumni Boards at NWTC because I understand the value of a secondary education and really do believe that college can be possible for everyone!
John Murphy
Senior Vice President, Miron Construction Co., Inc. (Green Bay)
Serving on the NWTC Foundation Board allows me to contribute meaningfully to the community where I live and work, while advancing the mission of equitable access to higher education. I was fortunate to receive support that made my own college experience possible, and I view this role as an opportunity to help extend that same gift to others – ensuring that financial barriers do not stand in the way of educational opportunity.
Mark Kaiser
Retired President/CEO/Owner, Lindquist Machine Corporation
I chose to serve on the NWTC Foundation Board because developing a workforce is critical for the continued growth and success for Wisconsin manufacturing companies. The largest constraint to growth for manufacturers is a lack of skilled labor, and the Foundation through its focus on scholarship awards is helping to bridge that gap. Attracting and developing talent is a key strategic need and the NWTC Foundation has been and continues to be part of the solution.
Nikki Kimbrough
Owner of Kimbrough Adult Family Homes & Co-Owner of Starz Barber and Beauty
Serving on this board is very dear to me. I see this as an opportunity to ensure the best educational outcomes for all students. As board members, we have a direct role in setting the vision, policies, and goals that help students succeed. I am grateful for the chance to be a voice for our community and to ensure the school reflects our collective needs and values.
Peter Kerwin
Controller/CFO, Portside Builders Inc.
The work that our technical colleges do to train the next generations of skilled workers is excellent, and needs to be supported by those of us in the local business community. Helping young people and working adults be able to afford technical training, thereby improving the financial stability of themselves and their families, is vital and rewarding work. Accessibility of technical education is not only important for the students who take on the challenge, but also for their future employers, and for the overall health and vitality of our local communities. I am humbled to have the opportunity to contribute to the continued success of this wonderful mission.
Steve Marshall
VP of Commercial Banking, First Business Bank
I struggled financially as a poor college student. There were countless months where I wasn’t sure how I was going to pay rent or bills. There were semesters that I could not afford to attend college and had to work to save money. Fortunately, I was able to persevere and graduate, albeit in six years. I can not imagine how much different my life would be had I not graduated. The students at NWTC are blessed to have a resource such as the Education Foundation to support them with scholarships and emergency grants allowing them to remain in college and reach their goals.
