NWTC's Career Coaches will work with your school to arrange visits to NWTC, provide presentations or demonstrations in your classroom.

Career Presentations:

Interested in exploring careers with your students?

Career Coaches can visit your classroom to teach students about career planning. Presentations help students learn about career options and how each job matches their personalities and interests. Career Coaches bring hands-on demo for the students as well to showcase certain programs/careers.

Hands-On Learning:

Summer Manufacturing Welding Camp

Students will learn about different jobs in the welding industry. Observe some welding and fabricating equipment in operation. They will also operate a metal shear, a virtual weld trainer and a wire welder in order to complete a take home project. The Camp is designed for students ages 12 - 14.

Your middle school students can explore careers of the future- without leaving school grounds.  With our mobile STEM labs your students have a hands-on learning experience with high-tech tools and equipment found in today's workplaces!

Tours (7th and 8th graders!):

Middle school tours at NWTC are available on the dates listed below. Due to the high demand of middle school tour request, each tour is limited to 120 students (7th and 8th grade only) in order to provide students with the best experience.
