Northeast Wisconsin Technical College is proud to celebrate nearly 2,100 students as they complete their programs for the 2024 spring semester and soar into their next chapter.
Some of the highlights from this graduating class include:
- Nearly 2,100 student graduates across NWTC’s three campuses and five regional centers.
- More than 50% of graduating students will receive degrees with honors and high honors, reflecting their dedication and commitment to academic journey.
- 140 students are graduating as members of Phi Theta Kappa, a prestigious National Honor Society of two-year colleges recognizing their outstanding academic performance and leadership.
- 20 different countries are represented by NWTC’s international students.
- Over 40 graduating students are veterans of the United States Armed Forces.
To celebrate this significant milestone, each NWTC campus will host its 2024 spring commencement ceremony at various locations, with live steaming available for those unable to attend in person:
- Sturgeon Bay Campus: Tuesday, May 14 at 6:00 p.m. located at the Sturgeon Bay Campus.
- Green Bay Campus: Wednesday, May 15 at 6:00 p.m. located at the Resch Center.
- Marinette Campus: Thursday, May 16 at 6:00 p.m. located at the Marinette Community REC Center.
The Green Bay Campus commencement ceremony will feature distinguished speakers:
- Keynote Speaker: Chris Woleske, Executive Vice President of Bellin and Gundersen Health System and President of Bellin Region, will share insights and inspiration with the graduating class.
- 2024 District Ambassador: Iana Tikhoniuk, an exemplary student leader, will address her peers and words of encouragement and reflection.
NWTC congratulates all graduating students for their hard work, perseverance, and accomplishments, and wishes them continued success in their future endeavors.
