Why Start Now?

  • Get FREE test preparation at any NWTC campus or regional learning center.
  • Learn from our GED® test experts who will be with you all the way.
  • Choose from a variety of class times to meet your busy schedule.
  • Meet new people as you earn the GED®, or bring a friend and earn your GEDs together.
  • Get closer to your goals! Complete your GED® and then start taking regular college classes.

You may be eligible to receive a scholarship to help pay for your GED tests – ask us how!

Eligibility Requirements

We look forward to working with you! But first, let’s make sure you meet the following eligibility requirements:

  • You must be at least 18.5 years old, or your 9th grade class must have graduated.
  • You must be a Wisconsin resident.
  • You must not be currently enrolled in a public or private high school.
  • You must not be a high school graduate.

Choose a Testing Location

For free GED® test preparation, choose any NWTC campus or regional center location.  Then when you are ready to test, visit one of NWTC’s three campuses.
