NWTC Promise Scholarship
What is the promise?
- We promise to pay the balance of tuition and course fees for eligible students.
- We also promise to provide a $100 book voucher each semester a student is eligible for NWTC Promise Scholarship.
- You promise to meet eligibility requirements as a high school student and maintain specific academic standards while an NWTC student.
College is possible for all – we promise. The NWTC Promise Scholarship will make going to college a reality for eligible, hardworking high school seniors who cannot afford the cost of earning a degree. Thanks to the generosity of donors, the NWTC Educational Foundation will help qualified students attend college.
Do You Qualify for NWTC Promise?
Will you graduate in the spring of 2022 from an NWTC District high school, alternative high school, or home school? Will you earn a GED/HSED in 2021 or 2022? Are you under the age of 19 as of the application deadline? And do you live in the NWTC District?
Is your high school cumulative GPA 2.0 higher? (by the end of your junior year)
Do you plan to enroll and be active in an NWTC degree or diploma program that is financial aid eligible in fall 2022?
Do you have an Expected Family Contribution (EFC) of 3,000 or lower?
Your EFC is a number that is calculated from the information you provide on the FAFSA. It is used by the Financial Aid Office to determine how much financial aid you would be eligible to receive to attend our College.
Yes! You could benefit from NWTC Promise.
