10-546-126 WELLNESS PROGRAMMING & DESIGN ...learners will design, develop, and deliver corporate and community wellness initiatives such as health risk assessments, wellness incentive programs, or health educational sessions. Learners will develop needs assessments, goals, objectives and evaluation measures with an emphasis on writing and presentation skills. (Prerequisite: Accepted in the Wellness & Health Promotion program)

  1. Create a comprehensive Worksite Wellness Program
  2. Identify the importance of a Worksite Wellness & Health Promotion Program
  3. Present justifiable rationale for establishing evidence-based Worksite Wellness Programs as a business strategy
  4. Implement basic marketing principles used for a wellness program or business
  5. Explore the role of social media and technology in marketing wellness programs
  6. Explain how wellness & social media campaigns are monitored and measured.
  7. Apply use of modern technology for improving wellness programming initiatives, individual client education and compliance with wellness programs.
  8. Communicate with members of the community and the media
