Course Description

10-804-135 QUANTITATIVE REASONING ...This course is intended to develop analytic reasoning and the ability to solve quantitative problems. Topics to be covered may include: construction & interpretation of graphs; descriptive statistics; geometry & spatial visualizations; math of finance; functions and modeling; probability; and logic. Appropriate use of units and dimensions, estimates, mathematical notation, and available technology will be emphasized throughout the course. (Prerequisite: Next Gen QRAS score greater/equal to 250 AND Rdg score greater/equal to 250; OR TABE A 9/10 Math greater/equal to no equiv AND Rdg greater/equal to 8.8; OR TABE 11/12 Math greater/equal to no equiv AND Rdg greater/equal to 573; OR ACT Math score greater/equal to 21 AND ACT Reading score greater/equal to 16; OR a C or better in Mathematical Reasoning-contact an academic advisor 920-498-5444)
