10-614-139 PROTOTYPE & DESIGN INTERNSHIP ...an introduction to model building, safety, tools, materials, flexible mold making, casting, limited run production, techniques and practices as on-the-job training.

  5. Carve a thin walled low density foam object by hand
  6. Build a "shadow Box" Limited 3D vertical model
  7. Mix silicone room temperature vulcanizing rubber molding material
  8. Create a Single Cavity RTV mold
  9. Mix Polyurethane casting material
  10. Create a Block RTV mold
  11. Cast a Urethane part in an RTV mold
  12. Match existing color in paint
  13. Create an identical appearing Replica Model
  14. Create a 2 -Part RTV mold
  15. Create a Multiple Part RTV mold
  16. Create a Multiple Part RTV mold with a Core
  17. Create an Archivable RTV mold
  18. Create a 2 -Part Rigid Fiberglass mold
  19. Create a Skin/Glove RTV mold with a Rigid Fiberglass Mother Mold
  20. Conduct a critical model review
  21. Estimate in writing the cost of a model prior to building it
