Course Description

10-093-355 MANURE MANAGEMENT ...environmental and plant nutrient concepts will be covered in this course. Students will be able to interpret manure analysis and crop needs in order to utilize manure most effectively. Critical soils and topographical challenges will be covered so students can optimize the utilization of this resource and minimize the impact of this potential pollutant. Outcome based projects will be developed to evaluate the manure treatment options available to compartmentalize the components of the manure. (Prerequisites: 10-090-302, Basic Soils; 10-093-350, Nutrient Management Planning and Compliance)
