Course Description
10-152-187 JAVASCRIPT AND NODE.JS ...Use JavaScript and Node.js to manage packages and prepare website files for deployment. Node packages and the Node Package Manager (NPM) will be used to develop website features and functionality. (Prerequisite: 10-152-180, JavaScript and DOM)

What will I learn?
- Use command-line tools to navigate, create, and manage files within a web development project.
- Use Git and GitHub to track project history and publish code to a remote repository.
- Use ES modules and CDN-based package delivery (ESM.sh) to incorporate external JavaScript functionality into a web page.
- Use npm and ESBuild to install dependencies and bundle JavaScript for production.
- Use Vite's development server and build process to develop and produce a deployable web project.
- Use Promises, async/await, and fetch() to retrieve and display external data in a web page.
- Use a static site generator with Markdown, templates, and layouts to build multi-page websites.
- Use data files, collections, and reusable partials to build a data-driven static site.
- Deploy a web project to a live server and evaluate it against basic accessibility and usability standards.
