47-442-586 INTRO TO MARINE WELDING ...students will learn about flux core arc welding, shipbuilding terminology, and weld joint design.
What will I learn?
- Demonstrate welding in the 1F, 2F, and 3F Positions.
- Identify types of base metal.
- Demonstrate safety using welding processes.
- Select proper FCAW equipment and supplies.
- Demonstrate safety using power and hand tools.
- Identify shipbuilding terminology.
