10-413-210 INDUSTRIAL WIRING and CONTROL This course will give you the opportunity to learn electrical symbols, wiring diagrams, ladder diagrams, control logic, solenoids, relays, time delay control, electrical service installations, and transformer wiring. (Prerequisite: 10-413-201, Commercial Wiring & Conduit Installation; Corequisite: 10-413-105, Commercial Electric Code)

What will I learn?

  1. Design ladder logic control diagrams using industrial symbols based on given circuit specifications.
  2. Implement ladder logic into a functioning industrial wiring project.
  3. Integrate time delay logic into control circuit design.
  4. Demonstrate the ability to install an industrial electric service by incorporating a transformer in compliance with the National Electrical Code.
