What will I learn?
- Identify classes of jigs, fixtures and tools from a tooling print.
- Identify various components on a tooling print.
- Locate specific details on a tooling print.
- Specify jig and fixture design based on production quantities.
- Explain the concept of modular tooling as it relates to industrial manufacturing.
- Select common components used for power fixturing setups.
- Design and draw a jig or fixture using AutoCAD software to acceptable industry standards.
