Course Description

Introduces cross sectional anatomy as it relates to Diagnostic Medical Sonography and correlating images from other imaging modalities. Learners are also introduced to a normal echocardiogram with basic 2-dimensional and doppler protocol. Practice scan sessions are included. (Corequisites: 10-526-222, Sonography Physics 2; 10-526-272, Cardiovascular Anatomy and Physiology)
