  1. Summarize the role and responsibilities of a Biomedical Electronics Technician (BMET) in the hospital/clinical environment.
  2. Analyze patient safety protocols, including risk assessment and mitigation strategies, relevant to biomedical technology
  3. Apply National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) and other guidelines related to biomedical technology and their impact on patient safety and device testing.
  4. Conduct testing and troubleshooting fundamental medical devices commonly used in the healthcare environment.
  5. Develop strategies for effective communication and collaboration with healthcare providers, patients, and other stakeholders in the healthcare environment
