10-550-177 AODA ASSESSMENT AND DIAGNOSIS... Examine addiction and its physical and psychological effects on the individual, family and society. Discuss various levels of care and practice documenting the treatment process. Assess boundaries and ethical issues commonly found in assessment, diagnosis and treatment of addictive disorders. Apply reflective practitioner techniques. (Prerequisite: 10-550-170, Understanding Substance Abuse)
