Course Description
10-536-144 PHARMACY TECHNICIAN INTERNSHIP... provides the student with an opportunity to practice pharmacy technician program outcomes for 432 hours in a community pharmacy setting. The internship will provide the opportunity to be performing according to industry standards for the pharmacy technician role, including maintaining patient profiles, interpreting and processing prescriptions, following inventory control guidelines, ordering and checking in prescription medications, application of Federal and Wisconsin laws, on-line adjudication of third party claims, and customer service.
