What is the Marinette Area Higher Education Coalition?

Under the Coalition, NWTC Marinette and UW-Green Bay, Marinette Campus are working together to bring a shared vision of public higher education to the Marinette area.

What are the benefits for students?

  • Bachelor’s Degree Options

    Do you see a bachelor’s degree in your future? Through the Marinette Higher Education Coalition, you can seamlessly transfer an NWTC associate degree into a UW-Green Bay bachelor’s degree program in five career areas: electro-mechanical technology, human services, nursing, business management, and health information. See how you can earn a bachelor’s degree in Marinette.
  • Access to Classes at Both Campuses

    If you’re an NWTC Marinette student who wants to take a class at UW-Green Bay, Marinette Campus, or you’re a UW-Green Bay, Marinette Campus student who wants to take a class at NWTC Marinette, connect with your advisor. We are here to help create a seamless experience for you.
  • Open Student Activities

    As a student of NWTC Marinette or UW-Green Bay, Marinette Campus, you may participate in student activities, clubs, and events at both campuses. No need to show a student badge – just join in the fun and get involved!
  • Shared Library Resources

    Whether you’re a student of NWTC Marinette or UW-Green Bay, Marinette Campus, you may use the library of either campus. That includes checking out books and materials, using computers and printers, and asking library staff for assistance with research. Learn more about the shared library resources.
  • Future Benefits

    NWTC Marinette and UW-Green Bay, Marinette Campus are continuing to work on coordinating additional student benefits, including careful scheduling of courses to expand offerings and options, local access to bachelor’s degrees, and enhanced academic and career advising across both campuses, all at our continued affordable tuition rates. We’ll provide more information as it becomes available.
