Open Studio
Open Studio Membership at the NWTC Artisan and Business Center (ABC) exists to support artists in practicing and perfecting their craft in the ABC's studios.

Membership Overview
Open Studio provides studio access in the following studios:
- Ceramics
- Fused Glass
- Jewelry & Metals
- Woodturning
In addition to studio access, every member will also have access to:
- 10% discount on class registrations for the duration of the membership
- Apply to the NWTC Artisan and Business Center’s Annual Showcase at the Neville Public Museum
- Apply to the Art Markets on NWTC’s Main Campus
- On-site Library
- Limited art supplies for purchase
- A creative community
- A shared refrigerator/microwave/Keurig

Membership Certification Process
Option 1: Complete your studio certification during a fundamentals class for the studio(s) you're planning to use.
- You're welcome to use all four studios under your membership fee if you've been certified!
Option 2: Complete a studio certification appointment to demonstrate mastery of fundamental studio skills. This is a great option if you have taken classes elsewhere.
- Certification appointments cost $30.
- Certification appointments can be made by emailing Artisan.Center@nwtc.edu
- Certification checklists for each studio are as follows:

- 2nd Qtr-Year: $100 (9/30/24 - 12/13/24)
- Registration Opens: 8/19/24 @ 10am
- 3rd Qtr-Year: $100 (1/6/25 - 4/5/25)
- Registration Opens: 12/2/24 @ 10am
- 4th Qtr-Year: $100 (4/7/25 - 6/27/25)
- Registration Opens: 2/24/25 @ 10am
- Next Full-Year Membership:(7/7/25 - 6/26/26)
- Registration Opens: 5/19/25 @ 10am

Open Studio Calendar
The calendar below displays the Artisan Center's studio hours available each day. These hours are available for Open Studio Members as well as students currently enrolled in ceramics classes to utilize "Class Bonus Time".
All visitors are required to sign-in using the tablet in the front lobby.

Kiln Firing Logs
We are very excited to be able to share our kiln logs below for the Ceramics and Fused Glass Studios!
As we pilot the process of sharing this information, please keep a few things in mind:
- We can't guarantee your work is in the kiln that is being fired.
- Our kiln operator(s) update this information in real time, so you may need to check back often.
- Please pay close attention to the "Program" column as you will be able to see when we have any kiln issues.
- We'd love to hear your feedback/suggestions!
