Recent graduate is paying it forward to future NWTC students

In 2020, Don Ramakers graduated from NWTC with an associate degree in cybersecurity. Now, he is working to create his own named scholarship through the NWTC Foundation to help pay forward the financial assistance he received. During college, he wrote thank you letters to his scholarship donors that said, “When I graduate, and I get myself settled, I’m going to return that money and then some, so the next student has that resource.” Now, as a fully employed graduate, Ramakers is keeping his word.
