Fall Fest celebrates start of academic year and ‘we are one NWTC’ spirit

Live music, carnival games, food trucks, and beautiful autumn weather set the stage for the third-annual Fall Fest, held September 24 on the Northeast Wisconsin Technical College Green Bay campus.

Approximately 400 students, staff, and community members attended the event. Student Nursing Association members, the Intertribal organization, and several international students teamed up to help run 12 carnival games.

“This event has quickly become a cherished annual tradition to celebrate the start of a new academic year at NWTC,” said Joe Richter, NWTC Student Involvement manager. “It truly embodies our ‘we are one NWTC’ spirit, where every student feels welcomed, connected, and valued as a member of NWTC.”

This year, the event was held alongside NWTC Open House, giving prospective students and their families the opportunity to not only explore academic programs, but to engage with the campus community.
