More than 400 prospective students and family members explored future career pathways at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College's annual Spring Open House on February 24, held simultaneously at the Green Bay, Marinette, and Sturgeon Bay campuses.
The event provided attendees a firsthand look at NWTC's more than 200 programs designed to meet regional workforce needs - including healthcare, nursing, advanced manufacturing, STEM, public safety, business, and many more.
Visitors toured classrooms and advanced lab spaces, connected with faculty and staff, and gained insight into the in-demand careers that power Northeast Wisconsin's economy. Those could also apply to NWTC at no cost and learn more about admission testing, financial aid and student support services.
Hands-on learning opportunities were on display throughout the evening, from advanced manufacturing at the Green Bay campus - where the CNC Machining showcase connected students with instructors and local employers - to dual credit presentations, helping families explore how students in grades 8-11 can begin earning college credit and accelerate their path into high-skill careers across the NWTC district.
NWTC's Open House reflects the college's ongoing commitment to expanding access to education, strengthening regional talent pipelines, and partnering with local employers to prepare students for meaningful, family-supporting careers close to home.
