The NWTC Foundation has been selected as one of 50 nonprofits to participate in the ninth annual Give BIG Green Bay, a 24-hour community giving event hosted by the Green Bay Packers and the Greater Green Bay Community Foundation to support organizations serving Brown County.
Give BIG Green Bay showcases the strength and diversity of local nonprofits across 11 impact areas, ranging from long-standing community organizations to emerging nonprofits making a meaningful difference. Of the 50 organizations selected this year, 10 are participating for the first time, with another 15 returning for just their second year.
“Being selected for Give BIG Green Bay is a powerful opportunity to highlight how philanthropy directly supports student success at NWTC,” said Meridith Jaeger, Executive Director of the NWTC Foundation and Chief Advancement Officer. “Every gift helps remove barriers for our students and opens doors to high-demand careers and long-term success in our community. We’re grateful to Give BIG Green Bay and its supporters for investing in students and the future of Northeast Wisconsin.”
Give BIG Green Bay runs from noon on February 25 through noon on February 26, during which anyone, anywhere can visit giveBIGgreenbay.org to learn about participating nonprofits and make a donation at any level. The Green Bay Packers Foundation is again contributing a $250,000 matching grant, helping ensure every donation goes further. With the support of other donors, more than $550,000 in matching funds and incentives will be available.
“Give BIG Green Bay amplifies the critical work of our nonprofits by sharing their powerful stories and celebrating the power of local giving,” said Dennis Buehler, President and CEO of the Greater Green Bay Community Foundation. “Over the last eight years, nonprofits participating in Give BIG Green Bay raised on average 2–3 times more than those participating in the five largest giving day events across the country.”
Across all eight years of the event, more than 55,000 gifts totaling over $17 million have supported 154 nonprofits. In 2025 alone, a record $3.5 million was raised from more than 5,800 donors, with 41% of donors supporting a nonprofit for the first time.
“The Packers are proud to once again partner with the Greater Green Bay Community Foundation for Give BIG Green Bay to help benefit dozens of Brown County nonprofits and those they serve,” said Packers President and CEO Ed Policy. “This partnership allows us to raise funds and awareness for incredibly important initiatives in our community.”
