Northeast Wisconsin Technical College celebrated the achievements of more than 1,350 credentials earned by students completing their programs during the 2025 winter semester. This milestone reflects the determination, skill, and future contributions these graduates will bring to the region’s workforce and communities.
“Graduation is one of the most inspiring moments of our year,” said Dr. Kristen Raney, NWTC president. “Our students bring such intention and determination to their studies and seeing them reach this milestone is a powerful reminder of what education makes possible. Their success strengthens families, communities, and our entire region.”
Winter 2025 Graduate Highlights:
- 1,249 individual students graduated (unduplicated headcount)
- 1,351 credentials awarded, including:
- 507 Technical Diploma
- 287 Associate Degree
- 557 Certificate
- 371 of graduating students will receive degrees with honors and high honors, reflecting their dedication and commitment to academic journey.
- 73 students are graduating as members of Phi Theta Kappa, a prestigious National Honor Society of two-year colleges recognizing their outstanding academic performance and leadership.
Commencement Celebration
NWTC honored winter graduates during a collegewide commencement ceremony on Wednesday, December 15 at 6:00 p.m. at the Resch Center, celebrating students from all campuses and learning centers.
The ceremony was also livestreamed so family and friends near and far could join in the celebration.
NWTC congratulates all winter graduates for their dedication, perseverance, and accomplishments. The College wishes each new graduate continued success as they begin the next chapter of their journey.
