High School Students Jump Start Their College Future
Ashlee Corn, Alamea Pyawasay, Pearson Denny and Mariah Fish, make history as the first high school students to earn an Associate of Arts degree through NWTC at the same time as their high school diploma.
These students from Menominee Indian High School began their journey through the 4x4 dual-credit program offered through NWTC Shawano. This high school program allows students to earn credits toward NWTC’s General Studies classes. Now, with NWTC’s new transfer agreement program, students were able to add to their course load to earn an associate of arts degree.
