Northeast Wisconsin Technical College has named Cindy Bailey the new dean of its Marinette campus.

“Cindy’s relationships with key leaders throughout the region in business, industry, and education will be invaluable to the NWTC Marinette Campus in its continued growth,” said Dr. Kathryn Rogalski, NWTC vice president of learning. “We are thrilled to have Cindy at our institution to build upon our mission and values.”

In addition to her role as dean of NWTC Marinette campus, Bailey will serve on NWTC’s Learning Leadership Team and Senior Leadership Team, representing the Marinette region in NWTC leadership meetings.

“My desire for collaboration in the service of student success is at the heart of everything I do. I believe we are only stronger if we can work together,” said Cindy Bailey, campus dean of NWTC Marinette. “I’m honored to continue to serve my hometown and help make higher education possible for the greater region.”

Bailey brings 25 years of experience in higher education in the Marinette area, having served the UW-Green Bay, Marinette Campus in various roles, including Assistant Campus Dean for Student Affairs and Enrollment Management and, most recently, as Campus Executive Officer since 2018.

“I’ve had the pleasure of working with Cindy for over 20 years, most recently as a partner of the Marinette Area Higher Education Coalition. She is an outstanding leader who is respected throughout the community. Her experience and connections will continue to drive student success in our region and beyond,” said Dr. Jennifer Flatt, NWTC vice president of student services and former campus dean of NWTC Marinette.

Bailey was born and raised in Marinette and is an alum of Marinette High School as well as UW-Green Bay, Marinette Campus. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Communications from University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and a master's degree in Organizational Leadership and Quality from Marian University.

Today, Bailey is a board member of Marinette Menominee Area Chamber of Commerce, and active member of the Education & Workforce Development Committee, Marinette Marine Booster Club, and Marinette Music Booster organizations.
